Biden and Trump will go into the general election with ‘glaring weaknesses’

Bondi Partners Senior Advisor and former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says both Donald Trump and Joe Biden have “significant difficulties” with their bases.

“The message to Biden folks is this, is that there’s roughly 20 per cent of Democrat voters who don’t care for Joe Biden,” Mick Mulvaney told Sky News Australia host James Morrow.

“Similarly, I think 70 per cent of Nikki Haley’s voters said they wouldn’t vote for Donald Trump in a general election.

“That’s a big deal because he needs those independent voters – those are the folks he lost in 2020 when he lost the election.”

“Both of these folks are going to win their nominations … but both of them go into the general election with glaring weaknesses.”
