James Galkowski

James previously worked in the U.S. Defense Department, where he supported the activities of Naval Research, Development, and Acquisitions. Prior to his time in the Pentagon, he served as Private Secretary to the White House Chief of Staff.

Before moving to the West Wing, James was the Special Assistant to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and simultaneously supported the Acting Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

A native of North Carolina, he completed his Master’s at the University of Cambridge, where he was a member of Selwyn College.
