Michael Obeiter

Michael has spent the last 20 years in Washington, D.C. working at the intersection of policy advisory, advocacy, and project finance and development. He brings expertise and relationships from across the public, private, and non-profit sectors to achieve results in Congress and the executive branch.

Michael joined Bondi Partners from boutique government relations firm Boundary Stone Partners, where he co-led the firm's federal finance practice group and helped clients secure and retain nearly $2 billion in non-dilutive funding. Before that, Michael led the development of federal climate strategy at one of the country's oldest conservation organizations, the National Audubon Society.

Michael has spent over five years on Capitol Hill, first as a professional staff member for the Senate Budget Committee under Chairman Kent Conrad of North Dakota, and later as an advisor to Senator Brian Schatz of Hawaii, a member of the Democratic leadership team and the Appropriations Committee.

Michael has worked as a consultant and lobbyist at Holland & Knight, a Senior Associate at the World Resources Institute, and a Utility Analyst at Harvard University. He holds a B.A. in math and history from Williams College, and an M.A. in economics from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.

Based in D.C. for Bondi Partners, Michael leads the American consulting team to assist businesses responding to new opportunities and managing emerging commercial, government, stakeholder, and regulatory risks.
