Tony Hockey

Tony Hockey is a growth equity investor specialising in dual-use technologies, leveraging more than 25 years’ experience advising CEOs and executive teams across Australia and the UK as a management consultant in the investment management industry. Tony has partnered with leading global asset managers on strategy, market entry, M&A, turnarounds and transformation initiatives, including AMP Capital, Columbia Threadneedle, Federated Hermes, Legal & General Investment Management, Macquarie Asset Management and Pendal Group.

As a Director of Bondi Partners Capital and the 1941 Fund, Tony focuses on identifying and backing exceptional teams who are transforming breakthrough technologies into category-defining businesses and supporting them through critical scale-up phases and international expansion. Based in Sydney, Tony is actively involved in key transactions and works closely with investors.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney, Masters degrees from University of New South Wales and Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and has completed the Advanced Management and Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
