Kevin McCarthy ‘not ready to give up’ for US House of Representatives Speaker nomination

Kevin McCarthy’s team is “not ready to give up” after eight failed voting attempts to elect him as Speaker to the US House of Representatives, says Bondi Partners Managing Director Emma Doyle.
“Certainly the 201 Republicans who continue to vote for McCarthy as Speaker are encouraging him to stay in the fight,” said Ms Doyle.
“They see this faction of 20 or so Republicans who continue to oppose him as a group who is taking the rest of the caucus hostage.”
